Each year, the Expo brings together schools, businesses, unis, TAFEs and training providers to give students, job seekers and anyone exploring a career change the chance to discover what’s next. Whether you’re finishing school, looking for work, returning to the workforce or chasing a new qualification, this is your one-stop shop for career inspiration.
The Expo is proudly hosted by the Wimmera and Southern Mallee Careers Association (WASM) and organised by a dedicated committee made up of local education and industry representatives. That includes members from the Wimmera Southern Mallee Local Learning and Employment Network (WSMLLEN), Department of Education and Training (DET), Federation University, Skillinvest, Wimmera Events Centre, and the Tertiary Information Service (TIS).
Every year, more than 2,000 students, parents, teachers and job seekers from across Western Victoria attend to chat one-on-one with industry experts, training providers and universities from right across the state - and beyond! There’s something for everyone, from hands-on trade demos to information sessions on tertiary courses and training pathways.
